Create Excel files in java(invalid number) -

i have string "2,345".i want put excel cell.i did in excel file got "2,345" string.so please suggest me how can "2,345" number value same format used above(comma seperated).

remove comma before inserting excel, cast number before inserting, format column show comma.

in excel code format range commas is:

somerange.style = "comma"    'or, recorded version somerange.numberformat = "_-* #,##0_-;-* #,##0_-;_-* ""-""??_-;_-@_-"  'a simpler version.. somerange.numberformat = "#,##0"
