Android AlarmManager not firing after Google Play update -

i've created app reminding people take madications on time. every time, after place new apk on google play, many complaints alarm doesn't work anymore. begins working again after user starts app (or reboots). help!

check out action_my_package_replaced intent action (on honeycomb , up).

you should able register broadcast receiver in manifest can reschedule alarms.
